| There are many ways to volunteer for the Society, inclusive of the following:
Volunteer to assist with community outreach by hosting a meeting once a month in your community by acting as a Community Group Facilitator. For more detailed information on this opportunity, please feel free to send us an e-mail
Volunteer on the Board of Directors and make a direct difference in the lives of people with autism and the services they receive!
Volunteer for Working Committees and help shape the future of the Society...
Lobbying/Litigation Committee:
Project based, the committees' current concerns include adult services, the lack of funding for early intervention programs, unregulated levels of training for education personnel and the difficulties surrounding diagnosis.
Foundation Patron Committee:
This committee assists with promotional and awareness initiatives, assists in the recognition of donors, designs fundraising campaigns and sees fundraising through to fruition.
Office Volunteer Program:
Assist with general office duties such as envelope stuffing, photocopying, and shredding.
Reception Volunteer:
Assist the receptionist with answering phones and greeting visitors.
Bingo Volunteers:
One of the most important volunteer roles, raising money for the programs and projects of the Society!
