Carla Christman

Having worked with diverse neurodivergent families and adults through Autism BC, I have dedicated myself to enhancing awareness, understanding, and acceptance of autism and other neurodivergence. From my own neurodivergent, physically disabled, and Indigenous heritage and insights gained from facilitators and group members, I am passionate about fostering inclusion, diversity, and equity. My ADHD, autism, and bipolar disorder give me the ability to use my ‘spider brain’ to weave threads of connection and nurture diverse strengths within our community.

Inspired by the Indigenous tale of Spider Woman/Grandma, I see parallels in our collective journey of resilience and adaptation, constantly re-weaving our stories and embracing change.
