#EquityIsWorthwhileLearn More

Jennifer Branston

I am an autistic self-advocate deeply committed to fostering and creating a more equitable and inclusive society for all. Through advocacy, I challenge ableist attitudes and barriers, ensuring diverse perspectives and voices are represented in decision-making. As a vocal proponent of systemic changes, I advocate for policy reforms and institutional practices that promote and advance accessibility, inclusion and equity in areas such as education and healthcare. Some of my current volunteer work includes the North Vancouver Parent Advisory Council, the UBC Health Mentor program, the North Shore Advisory Committee on Disability Issues and the NVPAC Disability Advisory Committee.

I have amassed a collection of thousands of song lyrics cataloged in my memory and love playing car karaoke with the radio.
