Lights, Camera, Autism! Program Founder & Volunteer Public Speaking Coach
Compassionate, Dependable, Energetic
My daughter, Sophie, was diagnosed with autism when she was three. It inspired me to train and work as an Education Assistant. With previous experience in broadcasting, I decided to create a workshop for teens to practice their social skills. Together with AutismBC, ‘Lights, Camera, Autism’ is offered in several Metro Vancouver School Districts. I volunteer with Autism BC, as a public speaking coach and am also the creator and host of Life on the Spectrum—The Autism Family Podcast.
I spent five years flying over Metro Vancouver as a Helicopter Traffic Reporter.
