DESCRIPTION:Join us Thursday\, February 16th from 4-6pm for some indoor fun. Playzone is an indoor gold-mine-themed play area\, where kids can crawl\, slide\, and climb. There is a toddler zone for under 3’s to play\, and parents can connect while the kids burn some energy.   \nAutismBC and our generous donors are sponsoring this community event. Admission is free for AutismBC members to attend.  \nPlease note: parents are required to stay with their children\, this is not a drop-off event.  We hope that you can meet some other families from the autism community around the south island. \n  \nWhat: Playzone indoor gold-mine themed play area \nHow: Advanced Registration is required for this AutismBC Goes event.  \nWhen: Thursday\, Feb 16th\, 2023 4:00pm – 6:00pm (2 hours) \nWhere: 1089 Langford Pkwy\, Victoria\, Location: (Playzone) \nWho:  For people on the autism spectrum and their entire families. DESCRIPTION:We are hosting an AutismBC Goes Tubing at Shames Mountain in Terrace on Sunday\, February 26\, 2023! \nBring your snow gear and get ready to try out the new tubing lanes at Shames! This is a great opportunity to connect with others in the NorthWest autistic community. \n How: Registration is required\, and tickets are limited! \nWhere: Shames My Mountain Co-op Terrace Click here: Location\nWhen: February 26\, 2023 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm\nCost: Free\, Membership Required. One ticket per rider\, ONLY 30 Tickets available. \n \n  \nRegistration closes Wednesday\, February 22 at Noon. \nIf you register and are not able to attend\, please email hello@autismbc.ca up to the day of the event so we can transfer your tickets to our waitlist. \nDon’t have an AutismBC free membership? Sign-up here: https://www.autismbc.ca/about/membership/ \n  \nWHAT TO EXPECT: \n\nYou must register to reserve your spot. Tickets are very limited (30 only) for this community event.\nEach rider needs their own ticket however tubes can be shared among riders.\nPlease ONLY register the rider requiring a ticket\, parents do not need to register if they are not tubing. \nTubes and lanes will be shared with the general public and are on a first-come\, first-serve basis only.\nCaregivers must sign a waiver for their rider(s).\nPlease Note: Cellular service is not available at the mountain.\nProper snow tires are mandatory in the winter.\n\nQuick Tips:\n\nBe prepared for varying weather conditions and temperatures.\nWe recommend proper winter boots with a good grip\nWear warm winter clothing\, snow pants are recommended (especially for children)\n\nImportant Information:\n\nSki Boots and Hard Shelled boots are not permitted to be worn while tubing due to safety reasons.\nYou must have a valid tubing lift ticket to ride the tube lanes.\nAll participants must follow the attendant’s instructions.  Unsafe conduct will result in the removal of your tubing lift ticket without a refund.\nThe minimum age for a child to go tubing is 3 Years old.  Children under the age of 3 are not permitted to tube.\nChildren 3+ years but under 42” or 106cm tall in height must be accompanied by a paying adult.
