DESCRIPTION:Come bowling with us! The Okanagan Bowling Club has been a community fixture in Kelowna for decades\, featuring five-pin bowling and a cozy atmosphere beneath the Capri Centre. \nThe event will also give you an opportunity to meet your new Interior Regional Coordinator\, Shayna Kershaw. Families can enjoy a safe\, inclusive bowling environment where autistic children can meet new friends and make new connections. \nEvent details\nLocation:  Okanagan Bowling Club\, 1835 Gordon Drive\, Kelowna\, BC. Map  \nHow to Register:  Registration is required for this event. By registering\, you are RSVP-ing to this  AutismBC Goes  \nWho: There are 96 spots available (over 16 lanes) for autistic children and their caregivers.  \nDate and Time: Sunday\, September 22\, 2024\, 11 AM to 12 PM  \nCost: FREE. AutismBC membership is required. You must log in to your account to register  \n  \nRegistration is closed as the event is at capacity.  \n\nA waitlist will be maintained for spots that open due to cancellations. \n\n \nAccessibility: \nThere is one flight of stairs down to enter the club\, but an elevator is available. DESCRIPTION:Have an Un-baa-lievable time with us! \nJoin us for a day of fun and discovery at Country Bee Honey Farm! Enjoy goat snuggles\, explore the grounds\, and meet a variety of animals\, including sheep\, pigs\, birds\, emus\, alpacas\, baby chicks\, a miniature donkey\, and a miniature pony. You’ll even have the chance to feed them!  \nStroll through the gardens\, admire wildflowers\, and observe honeybees in action.  \nLocation: Country Bee Honey Farm \, 6440 West Saanich Road\, Saanichton\, BC\, V8M 1W8. Map  \nDate and Time:  \n\nMonday\, September 23\, 2024\, at 10:00 am (Professional Development Day for multiple school districts).\nPlan to spend at least an hour exploring the farm.  \n\nWho: 20 spots are available for autistic children and their caregivers. You must have an AutismBC membership to access these events.  \nCost: FREE; AutismBC membership is required.  \nHow to Register: \n\nRegistration opens on Friday\, August 23rd\, at 12 p.m. and closes on Tuesday\, September 17\, at 12 p.m. or when the event is at total capacity. This event offers families a chance to connect and enjoy the animals in a safe\, inclusive environment where autistic children can feel comfortable and have fun. \nYou’re welcome to bring a leashed dog and a picnic basket or grab a treat from the farm store.\nSince this is an active bee farm\, please bring allergy medication if you’re allergic to bees\, hay\, or livestock. \n\nAccessibility:\nPlease note the pathways leading to the upper gardens are unpaved\, medium-steep slopes and rocky.
