DESCRIPTION:Pokemon Jr’s Club is an inclusive social club for children/youth 6–16 years of age.* \nEnjoy a shared passion and meet up for games and activities! Come in costumes if you like! \nThis event will be a low-key event — we will be playing games.  If you have a Pokemon-themed game or puzzle\, please bring it along. \nNo need to bring anything else\, unless\, of course\, you want to trade cards or show off your Pokemon stuff! \nDate: First Saturday of the month\nTime: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm\nLocation: Pacific Autism Family Network\, 3688 Cessna Drive\, Richmond.\nCost: Free \n  \n \n  \nImportant Information: Please be advised the PAFN may be video recording some of our meetings to showcase our group. If this makes you uncomfortable\, please let us know\, and we can try to have you move to a different area during filming. Although I cannot guarantee that you won’t appear in a photo during this event\, please keep that in mind. \n\n*Older participants are welcome as volunteers/mentors. Do you want to help out? DESCRIPTION:AutismBC Socials offers community members with common interests and hobbies a way to connect openly and safely online. \nOur Computer-based Introduction to Minecraft hosted by Elysium is an inclusive space for child & youth Minecraft enthusiasts to come together and play! Our mission is to inspire connection through sharing tips\, and tricks\, and playing together.  \nHow:  We bring you our monthly Minecraft Socials in partnership with Elysium\, a non-profit building a Minecraft server community for neurodivergent kids! Come meet and play with other kids who love Minecraft over a moderated Zoom video call and on the private\, white-listed server.  \nWhen: November 28\, 2023\, from 4:00 – 5:00 pm  \nWho: If your child/youth has been playing Minecraft for less than a year or if you’ve never played Minecraft on the Elysium server before — this is the right group for you. The Elysium Minecraft server is a whitelisted supportive and inclusive environment. It is available any time outside the monthly event for unstructured\, safe play and social connection. This AutismBC Social Minecraft Club is administered by Michael & Serene\, program volunteers with the Elysium team.  \nWhile activities may range from month to month\, we will be playing on Elysium’s modded RPG survival world. \nWe will focus on teaching and practicing the fundamentals of the game\, including:  \n\nBuilding any structure your heart desires \nExploring a Survival World \nFarming and taming pets\nBuy\, sell\, and trade resources from shopkeepers\, villagers\, and other players\nParticipate in group challenges like building battles & mini-games while learning structured team play \n\nCost: Free\, membership is required to participate in the event. \nDon’t have an AutismBC free membership? Sign-up here: https://www.autismbc.ca/about/membership/ \nRegister:  At this time\, participants must be playing Minecraft Java Edition for PC/Mac only. It is available any time outside the monthly event for unstructured\, safe play and social connection. This AutismBC Social Minecraft Club is administered by Michael & Serene\, program volunteers with the Elysium team.  \nWhile activities may range from month to month\, we will be playing on Elysium’s modded RPG survival world. You will be able to: \n\nBuild your own survival base\nLevel up and earn in-game money by picking up jobs such as mining\, hunting\, or crafting\nBuy\, sell\, and trade resources from shopkeepers\, villagers\, and other players\nParticipate in group challenges like building battles & mini-games while learning structured team play \n\nCost: Free\, membership is required to participate in the event. \nDon’t have an AutismBC free membership?
