DESCRIPTION:Program Update: Waiting for Assessment Workshop \nWe are currently revamping our Waiting for Assessment Workshop to ensure it provides the most accessible and inclusive experience for participants. Due to facilitator availability and our commitment to delivering comprehensive and supportive content\, we are postponing future workshops until Spring 2025. \nThis pause will allow us to reimagine the workshop in a way that better meets the needs of families waiting for autism assessments\, ensuring we deliver information and support that is both meaningful and impactful. \nWhat You Can Expect in the Revamped Workshop:\n\nA more accessible and inclusive approach to workshop delivery.\nUp-to-date information to empower families during the autism assessment process.\nOpportunities to connect with others in the autism community.\n\nIn the Meantime:\n\nFamilies and caregivers can still access personalized support through our regional coordinators via our information request system.\nWe also invite you to join our monthly peer support groups (Meets) on Zoom\, where you can connect with others navigating similar journeys.\n\nWe appreciate your patience as we work to enhance this program.
