SUMMARY:AutismBC Goes: Skating for Autism Acceptance Day with Autism Okanagan
DESCRIPTION:Come skating with AutismBC and Autism Okanagan for Autism Acceptance Day!  \nThis free event is open to the Interior BC autism community and a great opportunity to celebrate autism and our growing partnership. Enjoy an afternoon on the ice\, connect with others\, and share some cake. Plus\, a few former professional hockey players will be there to show their support for our community.  \nWe’re excited to bring everyone together to be our authentic selves and celebrate autism — we hope to see you there! \nWhat:  \n\nThis free event will feature cake\, balloons\, and special guests—including former professional hockey players—to celebrate the day.\nPLAN Okanagan will also be present with an info table to explain what their organization offers our community and games to entertain\nThis is a drop-in event\, so feel free to arrive anytime\, but know it does end at 6 PM\nParents or caregivers need to stay to supervise their children \nThe concession will be open and available to purchase food and refreshments from\, and the skate shop will be open to purchase skate and helmet rentals\, but we strongly encourage participants to bring their own skates and helmets.\n\nWhen:  \n\nApril 2\, 4-6 PM PST\n\nWhere: \n\nRutland Arena\, 645 Dodd Rd.\, Kelowna (Google Maps)\n\nWho:  \n\nThis event is open to the autism community of the Interior\nAll ages are welcome\n\nRegistration details:  \n\nRegistration opens Tuesday\, March 18\, 10 AM\nClick the button to fill out the registration form.\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout AutismBC Goes:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAt AutismBC Goes events\, we aim to foster a sense of community and belonging\, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation.
