AutismBC Goes & Ticket Giveaway Program
AutismBC Goes provides free, safe and supportive community events where everyone can be themselves. Hosting community events allows our members to come together, talk and have fun with others who understand and share similar life experiences. We work to reduce the financial and social barriers for people on the autism spectrum and their families.
AutismBC Goes is also a platform to educate organizations, companies and communities. From staff trainings, to community workshop presentations, or suggestions on how to be sensory friendlier – we use these events as a teaching tool. AutismBC Goes was designed to help build stronger, more inclusive communities.
If you want work with AutismBC to co-host an event, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Ticket Giveaway Program
Launched in 2004 the AutismBC Ticket Giveaway Program was developed to give families the opportunity to access free tickets to popular local events, and reduce the financial burden that can often be a barrier for people on the spectrum and their families.
With the help of Kids up Front and other incredible partners, each year AutismBC gives away hundreds of tickets to events such as;
- Sports: Vancouver Whitecaps, Canucks, Canadians and the BC Lions.
- Entertainment: Theatre shows, Concerts at BC Place and Rogers Arena, PNE, Vancouver Aquarium, Science World and other special events.
