Do you have a child on the autism spectrum in your life that you would like to better support or understand? Are you considering a career as a BI or within the education system? Our BI workshop may be the right fit for you!
A Behaviour Interventionist (BI) helps families with implementing an individualized intervention plan. The BI works one-on-one and uses teaching methods to target specific behaviours and achieve goals as directed by the Behavioural Consultant. The BI collects data, monitors, and records the individual’s progress for the family and team.
We are proud to offer year-round, two-day programs for parents and professionals looking to work with a home-based behaviour intervention team, or who simply want to increase their understanding of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA). These workshops are taught by highly experienced behavioural consultants that aim to give participants the tools to succeed by training them on implementing behaviour treatment plans.
Anyone interested in working with a home-based behaviour intervention team under the supervision of an ABA Consultant and Lead Therapist, parents, and professionals looking to gain a better understanding of ABA are all welcome to attend our workshops. If you are a parent receiving Autism Funding, you can get reimbursed for AutismBC Training and Workshops by submitting an invoice to the Autism Funding Branch directly. Click here to learn more.
