Program and Development Coordinator
Julie completed her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of British Columbia and began her career in the accounting field in Japan. Upon moving back to Canada, Julie took a long hiatus from work and spent 18 years at home raising her three children, the youngest diagnosed with autism. While being an active volunteer with various schools, athletic associations, and charities, Julie re-entered the workforce in 2018 with the Canucks Autism Network, where she continues to be part of their events team. Julie is very excited to join AutismBC in 2019, where she can use her experience and passion for advocating and supporting families living with autism. As members of AutismBC, Julie’s family has seen first-hand the benefits involved with being part of this wonderful community.
