We’re returning to Country Bee Honey Farm for our second annual visit\, and you’re invited to join us! \nEvent Details  \nWhat:  \n\nExplore the grounds and meet a variety of animals including sheep\, pigs\, birds\, emus\, alpacas\, baby chicks\, a miniature donkey\, and a miniature pony  \nYou’ll even have the chance to feed them! \nStroll through the gardens\, admire wildflowers\, observe honeybees in action\, and more \nThis FREE event offers families a chance to connect and enjoy the animals in a safe\, inclusive environment where autistic children can feel comfortable and have fun \nIt’s going to be an un-baah-lievable time!  \n\nWhere: \n\nCountry Bee Honey Farm \, 6440 West Saanich Road\, Saanichton (map )\n\nWhen: \n\nSept. 22 at 11 AM PT (Pro-D day for multiple school districts)\n\nWho: \n\nAutismBC members in the Vancouver Island region (all ages welcome) \n\n \nKnow Before You Go \n\nSarah Taylor\, our Vancouver Island Regional Coordinator\, will guide you through check-in when you arrive \nPlease dress for the weather\nParents must supervise their children throughout the event\nYou’re welcome to bring a leashed dog\nFor food\, you can bring a picnic basket or grab a treat from the farm store\nSince this is an active bee farm\, please bring allergy medication if you’re allergic to bees\, hay\, or livestock.\nAccessibility:\n\nPlease note the pathways leading to the upper gardens are unpaved\, medium-steep slopes and rocky\nThe farm store\, petting zoo and beehive are wheelchair and stroller-friendly\n\n\n\nRegistration Information \n\nRegistration opens Sept. 5 and closes Sept. 17 at 12 noon both days\, or when the event reaches its capacity of 40 attendants\nIf we hit 40 attendants\, everyone else will be added to a waitlist and contacted in case of last-minute cancellations\nBy registering\, you’re RSVPing “yes” to this Goes event\nIf you can no longer attend\, please email programs@autismbc.ca so we can give your spot to someone on the waitlist\nRegistration is limited to six people per household\n\n  \nThe event is now waitlist only.  \n \nAbout AutismBC Goes \nThe AutismBC Goes Logo\, which shows an infinity symbol in our brand colours on the left and the name of the event series on the right.\nAutismBC Goes events foster community and belonging for our members\, ensuring cost is never a barrier.
