DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the end of the school year with us by playing board games at The Outpost in Langford! Choose from almost 1\,000 games ranging in difficulty level from beginner to advanced\, and kick off the summer with sensory-friendly fun. Caregivers can bring children ages five and up to this family-focused event. \nEvent Details \nWhat \n\nAn evening of playing games at Outpost Board Game Cafe\nOur Vancouver Island Regional Coordinator Sarah Taylor will greet you when you arrive\nAfter you have been greeted\, feel free to grab a game and enjoy \nStaff will remain on-site to help you select the right game for your needs and skill level\nYou can try as many games as you like \nAll tables will have complimentary popcorn and chips \nThere is also food and drinks for purchase\n\nView the menu\n\n\n\nWhen \n\nJune 26\, 6–10 PM PT\n\nStay for an hour\, a couple of hours\, or until closing — it’s entirely up to you\n\n\n\nWhere \n\nThe Outpost Board Game Cafe\, 109-2830 Peatt Rd.\, Langford (Google Maps)\nParking: \n\nThere is customer parking directly behind the cafe and underground parking with the entrance between our building and next door (2830 and 2838 Peatt Rd.)\n\n\n\nWho \n\nAll Southern Vancouver Island AutismBC family memberships with children five years and older\n\nRegistration Information \n\nRegistration opens June 2 at 8 AM and is first-come\, first-served.\n\nRules: \n\n\n\nSpace is limited to 40 participants total for 12–14 families\nEach household may register up to four people\nSpots will be allocated on a first-come\, first-served basis\nChildren must be accompanied by a caregiver at all times\n\n\n\nHow to register: \n\n\n\nLog into your AutismBC membership account\nRegister every family member who will be attending\nIf you have difficulties with logging in or registration\, please email us\n\n\n\nRegistration tips: \n\n\n\nTo speed up registration\, log in to your AutismBC member portal ahead of time and make sure your household members are added to your profile\nThis ensures they appear automatically during registration and increases your chances of securing a spot\nWe recommend logging in and testing your access before registration opens\, as this event fills up quickly\nOnce the event reaches capacity\, registration will close and any additional entries will automatically be added to the waitlist \n\n\n\nEvent Cancellation Policy: \n\n\n\nIf you are no longer able to attend\, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance\nThis helps ensure fairness and gives other members an opportunity to participate\nFailure to provide a timely notice may result in you and the other members in your household being waitlisted for future AutismBC events\n\n\n\n  \n \n  \n  \n  \nAbout AutismBC Goes \n \n\nAll of our programs are designed to support\, empower\, and connect the autism community\nAt AutismBC Goes events\, we aim to foster a sense of community and belonging\, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation\nBy organizing engaging outings and activities\, we offer opportunities for autistic individuals and their families to connect\, have fun\, and learn in a supportive environment \n\nLet’s Connect \n\nNot yet an AutismBC member? Sign up for a membership\nWant to support AutismBC in providing future events\, programing and education? Donate here\nQuestions? Contact us
