DESCRIPTION:We are hosting an AutismBC Goes to Vancouver Art Gallery with our Events and Outreach Coordinator\, Liv Robinson. 🖼️🎨 \nExperience a captivating journey through the Vancouver Art Gallery. The event is limited to 15 participants\, making it a unique opportunity to learn more about the art world in a small group setting. Become immersed in creativity\, discover new perspectives\, and meet fellow art enthusiasts! \n  \nThis event is a giveaway draw; winners will be contacted after the draw closes.  \nHow: Registration is required; see below. We have space for 15 Adults.  \nWho: AutismBC Adults (18 & up) members\, specifically in Vancouver and surrounding areas.  \nWhat:  Group or individual exploration of the exhibits and galleries at the Vancouver Art Gallery. \nDate: Monday\, March 11\, 2024 \nTime: 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm \nLocation: Vancouver Art Gallery\, 750 Hornby St\, Vancouver BC V6Z 2H7 \nCost: FREE to AutismBC Members.  \n  \nWhat to Expect: \nWith Liv and Indy\, you’ll discover the Vancouver Art Gallery’s diverse collection of masterpieces and get a first-hand perspective on art and culture. Explore thought-provoking artworks\, discover hidden gems\, and learn about the stories behind them! \nAdditionally\, you can explore the gallery alone\, allowing for personal reflection and discovery. If you prefer\, you can also connect with other members of the group\, sharing insights\, discussing favourite artworks\, and fostering new friendships. Regardless of your preference\, this event offers a rich and dynamic experience. \n  \nAdditional Important Details: \n\nThe entrance has self-serve storage lockers\, free of charge\, for jackets\, bags\, water bottles\, and umbrellas. These items are not allowed into the exhibits. \nAccessibility headsets available\nDescriptions of the art for personal listening\nOpportunity to avail of the accessibility headsets for enhanced engagement with the exhibits\n\n  \nREGISTRATION INFO: \n\nRegistration opens on Thursday\, February 29\, 2024\, and closes on Thursday\, March 7\, 2024\, at 5:00 PM\nFollowing the draw\, winners will be notified. They will then receive a registration link to confirm their attendance at the event.\nIf you do not have an AutismBC membership\, we encourage you to register beforehand to ensure you get a spot.
