AutismBC Adults Goes to Artists Helping Artists Class

May 18, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 7:15 pm

Join us to learn about the Artist Helping Artist Collective.

This class is designed to connect autistic adults to create together.

What to expect: Introduction to the work Artists Helping Artists does at the studio space in Burnaby BC. Plus the opportunity to participate in some easy follow-along art projects that you can try at home.

Artists Helping Artists is an art studio collective where individuals of all abilities and skill levels are encouraged to come together to make art of all kinds! They provide artists with studio space, affordable materials, and the opportunity to pursue their aspirations concerning artistic expression. Artists Helping Artists believes that art is a vital element in acceptance and inclusion. Join two of the collective’s facilitators; Rosie Lam and Katelyn Sieb, to learn about their work, as well as some ideas for neat, affordable art activities that you can do from home!

More about Rosie:

Pop culture, sweet animals, eye-catching clothing – Rosie Lam does it all! From knitting to crochet, drawing to watercolor, Rosie manages to bring life to any item she creates.  Her favourite part of creating is knowing that her work will be loved in her customers’ homes for years to come. With her quick working speed and energetic spirit, she turned a beloved pastime into her own online crochet business in 2020 called “Rose & Lamb”. She is an avid member of Artists Helping Artists and often loves to share her passion for crochet with other artists.
