What we do
AutismBC has been providing much needed programs and services to families throughout BC since 1975. With the foundation of the organization rooted in information and support, AutismBC’s programs equip families and communities with essential autism knowledge and offer people on the autism spectrum an opportunity to participate in community activities.
At our core, we are a parent-based organization that helps navigate the autism journey. By providing credible information, delivering educational workshops and trainings, and promoting social supports and community connections. We are a provincial organization that serves 4 main regions including the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, the Interior, and Northern BC. Our head office is in Richmond; we have Regional Coordinators based in Kelowna, Prince George, and Comox to support the surrounding communities where our volunteers and programs operate.
