AutismBC Goes: Bead a Bookmark

Make bookmarks using beads and metal to celebrate Neurodiversity Week in Smithers! Like a bookmark in a favourite book, this free AutismBC Goes workshop for 20 participants provides space to pause, reflect, and celebrate your ever-unfolding, one-of-a-kind story.
In Smithers, a few local organizations dedicated to championing accessibility, diversity, and inclusion have organized a series of engaging activities during Neurodiversity Week from March 17th to March 23rd, 2025.
This is AutismBC’s second year partnering with Brainbow Accessories to deliver programming during this week. About Neurodiversity Celebration Week:
In 2018, Neurodiversity Celebration Week was launched with a bold mission: to reshape the narrative surrounding neurodiversity and promote the appreciation and celebration of the unique talents found in neurodiverse individuals.
At AutismBC Goes events, we aim to foster a sense of community and belonging, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation. By organizing engaging outings and activities, we offer opportunities for autistic individuals and their families to connect, have fun, and learn in a supportive environment.
