AutismBC Goes to Father’s Day at Kerrisdale Play Palace! (FULL)

June 16 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

AutismBC Goes to Father’s Day at Kerrisdale Play Palace! — This event is designed for autistic children aged 12 and under and their families. We’re excited to invite our Lower Mainland members to a special Father’s Day morning celebration, complete with cake!

Join us at Kerrisdale Play Palace, a huge indoor playground in the Kerrisdale Cyclone Taylor Arena. It features a bouncy castle, inflatable obstacle courses, a giant slide, ride-on toys, a basketball shooting area, building blocks, ping pong and foosball tables, and a toddler area—something fun for every child!

Our event includes a meet-and-greet, introductions by our Lower Mainland Regional Coordinator, Anne Honeycutt, and plenty of opportunities to connect with other families. Parents must supervise their children throughout the event. This gathering allows families to make new connections and enjoy quality time together in a safe, inclusive space where autistic children can have fun without judgment.

How: Registration is required for this event, and by registering, you are RSVPing. The centre remains open to the public, and a sensory-friendly room will be available for anyone needing a break from the activities.

When: Sunday, June 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please arrive at 10:30 a.m. to ensure you can participate in all scheduled activities.

  • Note: Play Palace is open to general public admission, and this is not a private facility booking.

Who: There are 40 spots available for children 12 & under with their caregivers to attend for free. For children aged 13 and up, we will provide board games and access to some Play Palace activities.

Where: Kerrisdale Play Palace, 5670 East Boulevard, Vancouver, BC
