AutismBC Goes to Yoga with Linh
January 24 @ 6:30 pm - 7:15 pmFree
Let’s join together for an all beginners yoga lead by Linh.
What to expect: Become a part of an all-accepting group – Easy body and breath movement to be relaxed – Be centered.
45 minutes Introduction Yoga and Movement Class. This class is intended to bring together autistic adults from across BC.
Participants should have a block or a book for support, if they don’t have a block. A belt or a strap or a scarf in case they might need it as well. One more thing, make sure they don’t have dinner yet or should not join with a full stomach- ever!
We will join a private zoom room for the class. A link will be sent closer to the date. We will keep the Zoom Room open after the class for those looking to connect with others. Lihn asks participants to bring a block (or a book for support, if they don’t have a block). Plus a belt or a strap or a scarf in case they might need it as well. One more thing, make sure you are joining before dinner yet or should not join with a full stomach.
Linh Jiang is a yoga instructor with 200 hour RYT. Linh has an extensive background and experience teaching and supporting children with special needs. Linh has worked as an ECE for over 8 years supporting people on the spectrum. I am passionate about my yoga practice as it helps me to release stress, heal my injuries, and calm my mind are just a few of many wonderful benefits.
AutismBC puts on these community events and covers the costs so they are free for all to participate.
