Bricks Challenge (K – Grade 3)
Students will explore key scientific principles through hands-on building and storytelling. Inspired by historical scientists and inventors such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Sir Isaac Newton, and Archimedes, students will engage in activities that introduce them to fundamental physics concepts, including:
- Centrifugal and centripetal force
- Force of inertia
- Kinetic and potential energy
- Law of action-reaction
- Lift force, torque, and leverage points
- Load distribution and angular momentum
Students will also practice the mathematical skills necessary for scientific calculations related to their models.
Registration Closed.

Galileo Technic (Grade 4 – Grade 7)
Designed for older students, the Galileo Technic program provides an in-depth look at mechanical systems from an engineer’s perspective. Participants will work in teams to build complex machines, exploring:
- Mechanical, mathematical, and physical aspects of engineering
- Logical problem-solving and teamwork in construction
- The fundamental principles behind machinery design and function
Registration Closed.

About Young Engineers:

Founded in 2008, Young Engineers operates Engineering after-school activities in over 50 countries, Our mission is to prepare 4 to 15-year-old students for the changing demands of the 21st-century workforce. With over 30,000 happy students globally, Young Engineers has been recognized by the Harvard School of Education and the European Union Commission. At Young Engineers, we believe in engaging our students’ education processes while developing the student’s learning skills. We understand that every child has a different technique for learning and retaining information; yet, we have found out that making learning fun is the lowest common denominator for a successful education. We have meticulously generated hands-on curricula, which combine education and entertainment, creating our unique “edutainment” method.
At AutismBC Goes events, we aim to foster a sense of community and belonging, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation. By organizing engaging outings and activities, we offer opportunities for autistic individuals and their families to connect, have fun, and learn in a supportive environment.
Our programs are designed to support, empower, and connect the autism community!
