AutismBC Goes: Play and Connect at Energyplex (Kelowna)

We’re excited to return for our third annual private event in partnership with Energyplex Kelowna! Back by popular demand—Play Cards are available again this year. 

If you’d like to include a Play Card with your child’s admission, you can select that option during registration. Please note that passes are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Let’s play, connect, and continue building an inclusive community together! 

What: 

  • A FREE event for adult family members, children aged 1-14, and caregivers.
    • Access to the Kids Zone is included in the registration for this event and sponsored by Energyplex!

Optional: Pay $10 and get a $20 Play Pass card

  • 40 discounted children’s Play cards are available for purchase—first come, first served.
    • Play Cards can be spent on additional activities at Energyplex, such as rock wall climbing, laser tag, arcade games, and the Skytrax.
    • Discounted Play Cards will only be available while supplies last, so we recommend registering early!

  • This event is open to AutismBC Interior family members with children aged 1-14. 

Know Before You Go:

  • Please read the disclaimer information below before registering for this event.
  • Optional Discounted Play Cards:
      • Only 40 discounted Play Cards are available for purchase—first come, first served.
      • Children must attend the event to receive the $20 Play Card.
      • To ensure fair access, AutismBC may limit the number of Play Cards per family if demand is high.
    • Event refunds:
      • If you cannot attend, please cancel at least 48 hours prior notice to the start of the event so waitlisted members can attend, and you will receive a full refund for those purchasing child admission + Optional Play Cards.
  • Outside food and drinks are not permitted, but the concession stand will be open for refreshments.
  • All guests must remove their shoes and wear socks while inside.
  • A parent or caregiver must stay on-site with their child(ren) for the duration of the event—this is not a drop-off program.
  • A venue waiver will need to be signed upon arrival.

Registration Details: 

  • Registration for this event opens on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 8:00 AM.
  • Registration closes for this event on Monday, May 5, 2025, at noon.
  • You must log in to your AutismBC membership account to register for this event.
  • Please ensure that you register all family members who will be attending the event.
  • Purchase of Play Cards is not required but recommended for those who would like to access the additional activities offered by Energyplex.
  • If you’d like to include a $20 (95 credits) Play Card with your child’s admission, you can select that option during registration.
