AutismBC Introduction to Minecraft February

February 22 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Minecraft Club is an inclusive space for Minecraft enthusiasts to come together and play! Our mission is to inspire connection through sharing tips, tricks, and playing together.

We bring you our monthly events in partnership with Elysium, a non-profit building a Minecraft community for neurodivergent kids. Come meet and play with other kids who love Minecraft over a moderated video call.

To register, all participants must have or be willing to sign up for:

  • Minecraft Java Edition for PC/Mac (not for iPad, tablet or mobile devices)
  • Zoom

If you’ve been playing Minecraft for less than a year or if you’ve never played Minecraft before — this club is for you. We will focus on teaching and practicing the fundamentals of the game, including:

  • Building any structure your heart desires
  • Exploring a survival world
  • Farming and taming pets
  • Fighting mobs such as zombies, creepers and more

Please note: If you don’t already own Minecraft, please choose the assisted setup option when you register for the event.

At this time, participants must be playing Minecraft Java Edition for PC/Mac only. The Minecraft server will be protected to support a safe, inclusive environment. Availability is limited for our first session but we hope to expand the program in the future!

You must be an AutismBC member to access this program. PLEASE SIGN UP BEFORE FEBRUARY 9TH, 2022 to ensure we have time for our team to connect to ensure proper set up into the Minecraft world.

Please sign-up using this form.
