AutismBC is pleased to collaborate with Provincial Outreach Program for Autism and Related Disorders (POPARD) to present a series of workshops in 2021, aiming to provide resources for families to help their kids (and parents) learn at school, at home, and in the community.

Join our free information session on supporting Families with Navigating Mental Health Services in BC for Children/Youth on the Spectrum.
Having a diagnosis of ASD increases the likelihood of having mental health symptoms or a diagnosed disorder. This session will:
• Provide a brief overview of the most common mental health disorders among the ASD population.
• Discuss how COVID-19 is impacting mental health
• Help parents/caregivers identify when to seek mental health support.
• Provide a detailed review of how and where to access mental health support from primary care to tertiary care services.
