Parent Meeting: Autism 101 Q&A

March 12, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

It’s time to gather for a coffee meetup on Zoom and talk with an AutismBC Information Officer!

Date: Friday March 12, 2021

Time: 10:00-11:00AM

Theme: “Autism 101 Q&A” for parents/families at all stages of your autism journey.

To Sign up:

You may have lots of questions after getting a new diagnosis for your kid, or at a different stage you have questions about education, transitioning, social skills, disclosing autism diagnosis, self-regulations, social skills, therapies, employment, adult services…  the list goes on.

Come and ask your questions, and/or share your experience with other parents.

Stella will provide Autism101 information and directions as requested, both during the coffee meetup and by a follow up email.

Stella Hui

Stella has been the Information Officer with AutismBC since 2006.  Other than her experience from work, being the parent of a son on the autism spectrum and an occupational therapist definitely widened her perspectives on autism. Over the years, Stella has met numerous parents and families, self-advocates, professionals, and others in the autism communities. She connects with the autism community through phone and email enquiries, the monthly workshops she organizes with speakers presenting on hot topics related to autism, the community support groups she facilitates, and the coffee meetups she coordinates for parents and families.
