🎃 Get Ready for a Spooktacular Showdown: AutismBC’s Hauntingly Fun Pumpkin Carving Contest! 🎃

Calling all Northern BC residents! This ghostly gathering is exclusively for you, and it’s time to conjure up some Halloween magic from the comfort of your own home. Get ready to showcase your carving skills and make your pumpkin the star of the show! 

When: October 18 to November 3, 2023

Who: Members of AutismBC residing in Northern BC who are individuals with autism and their families.

Three Different Categories to Conjure Your Creativity –  Choose one of the following: 

1. Stencil Design: Capture your pumpkin’s transformation from stencil to spine-tingling art.
2. Best Illumination: Light up the night with your glowing gourd!
3. Freehand/Creative Design: Unleash your inner artist and let your imagination run wild – paint, carve, colour, it’s your canvas!

Eerie Prizes Await: 

Three lucky winners will take home enchanting prize packs that include:

• A signed copy of Jenny Story’s Book “Dysnomia”
• Artist Mitchell Brager’s 2024 Calendar
• Fidget Toy
• $25 Safeway Gift Card 

– Each prize pack is valued at $100.00!

Beware the Northern BC Coven of Judges: 

Our mystical panel of judges hails from the far reaches of Northern BC:

• Lori & Corbyn Gauthier, Fort Saint James

Judges will have the opportunity to review submissions and select winners.

The shadows will part on Halloween Day, and the winners shall be revealed right here on this page after November 3rd! We’ll also send out ghostly announcements via email to all our Northern BC members.

Contest Rules: 

To enter, cast the following incantations:

• Your best photo of your pumpkin design
• The category you are submitting for 
• Your name, age, and location
• Your AutismBC membership status
