Last year, AutismBC relied on over 1,700 volunteer hours to help us provide the best possible support for the autism community across BC. From youth and adults on the autism spectrum and their families and friends, to employers who would like to create a more inclusive and accessible community, we have opportunities for everyone!
We are currently seeking volunteers with the following skillsets:
Help us generate much-needed funding by assisting with peer-to-peer, community, school, or work fundraisers. We will provide you with everything you need to make your event a success!
If you like the hustle and bustle of event planning and execution, we would love to have you on our team. Our needs vary from tasks like auction basket assembly and flyer deliveries, to table hosting.
Our street team is the public face of AutismBC at community events around the province. This job requires the set-up and tear down of a tent and table at local events, then several hours managing the information table, greeting guests and sharing information about AutismBC. Training is provided.
At AutismBC, we believe sharing lived experiences is crucial in building inclusive communities. Although this may not be a traditional way of volunteering, we think it is a great way to give back! If you have a story or an experience you’d like to share, please get in touch! These stories are a huge source of inspiration to our members.
